Paralegal Programs Offered
Cerro Cosa Community College offers an associate of science degree program as well as continuing education courses for individuals already practicing as paralegals.

Program Schedule
The associate of science degree offered by the college is a total of 61 units.
There are 31 units that are specific to the paralegal degree.
Students who wish to complete the certificate program will be required to complete 31 units.
Students in the program will receive training in areas of the legal system including research, interviews, the court system, court procedures, and legal briefs.
Program Requirements
Students wishing to enter the paralegal program offered by Cerro Cosa Community College will first need to submit an application to the college and be accepted.
The degree consists of eight required courses.
There are eight specialty courses that students will be required to choose at least two of.
In addition, there are nine general education courses that must be completed in order to finish the program according to the standards set by the ABA.
Students who wish to complete the certificate program are not required to complete the general education requirements.
