Founded in 1972, the college originally served the Aldiene, Montgomery, and Spring school districts in Texas.

In 2008, it expanded to the Houston Metroplex and was renamed the Lone Star College System (LSCS).

Housed on the Lone Star College – North Harris campus are two Paralegal programs: the Paralegal Studies Associate of Applied Science Degree Program and the Paralegal Studies ATC Program.

Both pathways are designed to allow a student to quickly enter into a paralegal career with a core understanding and real-world skills.

Program Structure & Curriculum

The Legal Assistant program is designed to allow quick entry into the workforce as a paralegal.

It also provides an academic foundation for students who may be interested in law school.

    The paralegal program in Lone Star is really intact with the local kids who want to pursue paralegal but don’t have enough budget. The school is very understanding with its students.
