San Jacinto College is located in Houston, Texas on Uvalde Road.
The campus can be reached from Wallisville Road. Included on campus are the Dr. Charles Grant Fine Arts Center and the Interactive Learning Center.
There is also a mechanical building, vocational building, Nichols Gymnasium, and Tennis Courts on the campus.
San Jacinto Plaza is located directly across Uvalde Road from the campus.
Paralegal Programs Offered
San Jacinto College offers an associate of applied science in paralegal studies.
The American Bar Association has approved the program.
Program Schedule/Requirements
The paralegal program offered through the college is a comprehensive educational program that provides students with the expertise to become a paralegal.
Emphasis is placed on developing organizational, analytical, technology, and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in a paralegal setting.
Classes include basic legal theories as well as specialized areas of the law.
The degree also requires a number of general education courses and computer courses for completion.
The paralegal program consists of 65 required credit hours within the curriculum program to be completed to obtain the degree.
This will typically take two years to complete when attending as a full-time student.
Students are required to complete an internship as part of the program.
