Paralegal Programs Offered
Angelina College offers a Legal Assistant Associate in Applied Science degree.
Students receiving this degree are eligible to sit for the certification examination offered by the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Program Schedule and Requirements
Students interested in the legal assistant/paralegal associate of applied science degree offered through the college may enroll during any semester but first must gain admittance into the college.
Students who wish to enroll in the legal assistant/paralegal program will need to first contact the admissions office of the college.
It is recommended that you speak with an advisor about enrollment in the program.
The program consists of 18 credit hours of general education courses, 38/40 required technical core courses, and 10 credit hours of other required courses including an introduction to word processing, word processing for desktop, and one elective course.
The total number of credit hours required for the paralegal associate degree is 66/68.
