El Centro College is located in Dallas, Texas on Main Street.
The college can be reached off the Stemmons Freeway and sits just a few blocks away from Dealey Plaza Park.
The Old Red Museum of Dallas County is located near the campus of the school as well.
Programs Offered
El Centro College offers an associate degree in paralegal studies.
The program is approved by the American Bar Association.
Program Schedule
The program offered by the college consists of seven core classes as well as 14 paralegal courses.
Students are allowed to start the paralegal program during any semester and there is no maximum number of students that are allowed to enroll.
The program consists of 63 credit hours.
The cost of the program is $45 per credit hour for individuals who are residents of Dallas County.
Out-of-county residents pay $83 per credit hour and out-of-state residents pay $132 per credit hour.
Program Requirements
In order to be enrolled in the paralegal program offered by the college students must first meet all of the requirements to be a student at the school.
Prospective students will be required to present scores from a Texas Success Initiative examination or show proof of exemption.
If you are exempt you will still be required to take the appropriate assessment tests in order to determine college readiness.
Students are required to complete at least 25% of the credits required for the degree through the college.
