Arizona Western College

Arizona Western College is located in Yuma, Arizona on East 24th Street.

The college can be reached easily by taking Highway 95 to South Ave 8 East.

The campus offers a baseball field, soccer field, postal service, child development learning lab as well as a music theatre and several dorms.

There is a Little Caesar’s restaurant and the Bright Beginnings Learning Center located directly across from the campus.

Program Schedule and Requirements

The paralegal program offered by Arizona Western College is designed to prepare the student for an entry-level position working in a law office.

The courses provide the student with practical legal skills that enable them to draft legal documents as well as learn practical applications, legal theories, and fundamental concepts of specific areas of the law such as business law, criminal law, torts, and family law.

The certificate consists of 28 total credit hours. Of these 28 credit hours, 22 are required major courses.

The other six credit hours are departmental requirements and students may choose two courses from the following: Criminal Trial Procedure, Probate, Real Estate Transactions, Family Law, Bankruptcy, Administrative Law, Legal Interviewing, and Computerized Law Office.

A paralegal internship is required as well.

The tuition for the program is $1960.

The cost for books and supplies is approximately $1404.

Room and board on campus costs approximately $5610.
